Android Weather App Update

So recently I was inspired by the Google Now Weather Card.

Its simple and minimalistic iconography make for a beautiful experience. I really wished I could have it display weather reminders all the time, but thanks to Google Now’s wonky control settings I couldn’t. So I began searching the Play Store, and the closest weather app I could find with a minimal appearance was Weather Eye. All in all it’s a pretty good app, but after using it for a couple of days I still found myself opening Google Now and staring at the weather card and its beautiful design. So I decided I would make a mockup of what it would look like as a full fledged app. Now bear with me since this is just an initial prototype, however I really feel like I’ve captured the look I was going for.

I’ll update this post as I flesh out the design even further and as I do so I’d be really interested in some feedback and maybe just maybe working with an established Android developer to get this thing out and into the hands of the Android populace.
